Velocity Blunt 35 29" MTB Rim
Designed as a wide, tubeless compatible, mountain rim option, the '35' part is a reference to its astounding width, which gives any wheel built with it a larger footprint with more traction. Very useful for cross-country and all-mountain riders who are looking for lateral stiffness without so much weight.
VeloCity do not make a downhill or enduro rim, though the B35 can be used for a variety of trail. If you're getting super gnarly and doing huge drops, this aluminium rim may not be your best choice.
If you're riding rugged trails with roots and rocks and the occasional drop - sure!
Shorter and thicker sidewalls for incredible durability even when paired with low pressure tubeless tyres. I-beam bead hook maximises internal width for optimum tyre performance.
Advanced spoke bed design allows for super high tension (strong!) wheels, while keeping overall rim weight low.
Precision diameter and bead seat design achieves reliable tubeless performance.
