"Prefer knee sleeves over bulkier knee pads. The price was right and TLD is a reputable brand"
"Very comfy material. Sizing was as advertised. 6FT2 AND 200lbs, I ordered XL/XXL, pads prob a bit too big, but they don't slide a lot."
"Light weight and comfortable."
"Over many years that I've been riding MTB I've gone back and forth with a vast number of pads...Some thick and cumbersome...Others not as much and thus not as protective...As a Downhill rider/racer, in the past I have worn full armor, knee shin combo pads, mega elbow pads, full face helmet, and neck brace...I was fully protected but couldn't really move around, feeling like a cross between a hockey goalie and "Bib the Michelin Man"...One day I decided to shed some of these bonds, most in fact, except for my full face helmet...I purchased these "Speed Sleeve" Knee Pads to go under my long riding pants and they offer just enough protection, without impeding my motion...I choose also to wear the sleeve style elbow pads too under my long DH jersey on occasion, and found as I became more unencumbered, I also become a lot more agile on my bike again, and with my experience found I crashed way less anyway! So rider beware...If you crash a lot, these aren't for you. But for experienced riders who want a minimalist pad, or perhaps less experienced riders who don't go full on all the time, they might appreciate the freedom of riding with these, and as with all Troy Lee Design Gear that I have used personally these are of exceptional comfort, and quality, and as always, I got the killer deal here at Cambriabike!"
"So far they are comfortable, I have used about 6-7 times and they do not slip. I don't know if they will be too hot yet as I ride in the am when temps have been around the forties."
"Very comfortable"
