I had a recent tear

"I had a recent tear in my sidewall 30 miles from home. Had some duct tape in my pack, but no tube. (I know, bad form. They were on order though). So broke the bead cleaned off the Stans as best I could, put duct tape on the inside casing over the tear, then super glued on the outside. Long story short, it took me many pump ups along the way, but Stan’s got me home. After doing some research when I got home, I ordered some nylon thread and curved needles and stitched the tear and super glued over the top. After 3 days and a couple of rides, it is still holding air. Time to change the tire now, but I’m pretty impressed with Stan’s."
