"When my 11spd XT drivetrain wore out, I decided it was time to upgrade to 12 spd. Since Shimano component availability is a challenge, I opted to go with the SRAM GX Eagle option. Unfortunately I don't have an XD driver so I decided to go with the NX cassette and my only complaint so far is the weight. Shifting seems to be good and honestly the 11 tooth vs. 10 tooth small ring doesn't bother me, but the nearly 200g difference is noticeable. This is a good option if you don't have an XD driver, but just be mindful of the weight penalty."
