"Shimano has narrowed their classic cycling sandal and it is lighter weight. I’ve ridden in comfort through several pairs over time and these no longer have heel strike on my chain stay and feel lighter than my older pairs. I have high arches and use an arch support, so the straps are not quite long enough for me but an inch of double sided Velcro works as an extension to keep the upper strap closed."
