I run this on an Ebike

"I run the 11-40t on a high powered urban Ebike in 1x8. The low cost allows me to replace it with the chain as a set. The riveted 2 low gears are nice. More even gear spacing than the similar Sunrace part. The wide ratios mean no more double upshifts. A longer B screw lets this work with traditional Shimano MTB 8/9s derailleurs. A Sram 1:1 8 speed shifter allows a modern clutch deraileurs like the SS cage Zee M640 DH version to work also. This gives good curb clearnce on 26" bikes."
