"The 5120 rear derailleur offers flexibility and excelllent shifting for under $50. The trade-off is that is heavier than costlier options: about 105 grams heavier than 11-speed XT. But it's compatible with both 10- and 11-speed Shimano MTB drivetrains, and has an effective clutch to maintain even chain tension over gnarly turf. Max rear sproket is 46 teeth in a 1X system, and 42 teeth in a 2X. Use the 5100 if you want 1X 51 teeth."
