Armored flagship downhill/enduro SPD shoes shred hard with commanding control. With the new Shimano's original compound and outsole pattern maximizes grip and durability.
Massive instep strap securely holds foot to support aggressive pedaling over any terrain. Pedal Channel for stable shoe to pedal platform when not clipped in. Up to 18 mm expanded rearward cleat adjustment range for improved bike control.
Armored lace shield tongue cover provides extra protection from debris. Not only just that, asymmetrically raised padded ankle collar and sidewall sole for added protection. Speed lacing system allows fast, secure adjustments and it can stay easily under the tongue cover with hook and loop.

"These shoes are great for cooler weather and feel wonderful on and off the bike. My rides tend to be 2 hours or less so the added weight is no problem. Century riders might find them too heavy."
I purchased these to replace
"I purchased these to replace a pair of Shimano ME7 that I found to work well for trail and park riding. The AM903 are very similar in the retention system of laces and buckle. However, the 903 have a Velcro strap. It does provide easy quick retention adjustment instead of a buckle. I worry this will not hold up in time as well as the buckle used on the ME7. The extra padding on the inside of the ankle is great and low profile. I have not used these on 90 deg days yet but seem fine for 80 deg trail rides. I would recommend this for trail to DH riding. They are probably the best off the bike walking shoes I have ever had. The sole does well to grip all but deep mud. Once on the bike riding I did not notice them at all. In my experience that is usually a good performing product."

Downhill shoe
"I got these shoes to pair with the Shimano saint pedals. I used them on my Downhill bike. They feel good. These shoes are easier to walk in that regular shoes. They do not perform well for me on any other pedal other than the Saint pedals though. The sole is too soft for a regular SPD pedal, you really need the extra contact area the Saint pedals offer to get the best performance out of these shoes. If you do that they work great."
Solid shoe and just what I was looking for.
"The synch system is rad and being able to cover the laces with the flap is key. I’ve had laces snagged in tight descents and this solves that."
