"A lot of people say to just use marine grease because it’s waterproof, but I like this Phil grease better. It’s not as stiff as boat grease so it’s easier to manuever into all the areas that need some grease, and sticks well enough that your balls aren’t gonna fall while you’re inserting your axle."
"Phil Wood grease is the best. I’ve used it for 30 years of cycling and it always does the job. It doesn’t degrade. Hubs and BB that have been greased 10 years ago still have good looking green grease in them that feels like it came out of the tube."
"This is a very good bearing grease. Shimano and Park Tools greases are viable, but this is better. There are more expensive, putatively better bearing greases, but I don't think they're worth the cost."
"Been using it for years, the best"
"Classic do it all bike grease. Highly recommended"
"I have used this Phil Wood grease for years. It lasts! And the tube makes it easy to get it where you need it."
"I've been using Phil Wood grease for many years for headset, hubs and bottom bracket. It works and is long-lasting. Phil's also creates a water seal. Very pleased."
