"I really like the position of the BOA strap. It makes for easy entry/exit when putting the shoes on and off. They are quite light with a stiff sole to transfer power. The insole is a bit thin, but I suspect that is by design for better power transfer. The upper is synthetic leather and definitely tailored for a slimmer foot. My feet felt very secure during sprints and efforts when I was pulling up on the pedal."

"The pearl izumi elite V5 is very comfortable. The ratcheting knob in the center works great really securing the shoe to your feet. The soles are firm and add power while peddling. In addition, they are well ventilated and keep your feet comfortable for long rides."

The reflective material is also really nice for visibility and makes it look sharp. It has a lot of arch support which I like since I have really high arches. I did need to size up half a size."
