"A brush is a brush, just use any ol one from the store, yeah yeah we’ve heard it all. The gsc-4 from park is different because it’s actually well-thought out, the bristles are cut at an angle so it gets equally deep in between each cog with minimal effort. Angling a brush won’t give equal depth so you’ll have to do multiple passes. The brush is also sturdy and has some weight to it, doesn’t feel cheap or fragile at all. Also the price isn’t that much more than a regular brush you’ll find at the hardware/dept store. I like to think I’m not a sucker for marketing or just brand loyalty so when a product like this is released, I like to inform people that it’s not just a gimmick or an off-the-shelf product just dressed up in park tool blue."
"Haven't used it yet but seems to be well made."
"Nice, sturdy brush. On the smaller side which is nice, easy to handle and maneuver."
"I've struggled with tooth brushes and other means to try to keep the cassette clean. Finally brought this. Bristles are stiff and long to reach into the cassette. Also angled to match the shape of a cassette. Makes it easy to keep a cassette clean of build up that might slow you down."
"Does a decent job with its curved shape but I still need a narrower brush or tool to really get in between the cogs."
"Does what a brush does, better quality than expected aswell! Sturdy and fairly durable!"
"Great addition for cleaning, shaped to make getting into the cassette easier, good stiff bristles."
"I like yo keep my drivetrain clean because I know it adds life to all the components. This brush let’s me keep the cassette clean. I used a different brush before and this one is much better"
"This is a stiff bristle brush that is both curved and angled to fit the shape of your cassette. It does the dirty job, and it does it pretty well. I paired it with Rock n Roll Gold, saturated the cassette and brush, gave it a good scrub, and I was ready for my next adventure."
