The CRS-15.2 uses two different insert rings to install bearing races on the 1.5" and 1-1/4" forks. The bearing surface is spared a direct hit by using an aluminum inserts. Using a hammer, tap firmly on the end cap of the tube and seat the race into its proper place safely and accurately. Included extension allows work on fork steering tubes up to 425mm.

"I used this to set a crown race with my Wolftooth GeoShift headset (along with Wolftooth's crown race adaptor for the CRS). Worked great. I previous tried to get a bike shop to set the old Wolftooth headset who didn't have the proper tools and mangled the crown race and then that destroyed the bottom headset bearing. The CRS-15.2 set the new crown race perfectly straight."
