"Good service and nice tires. No complaints."
"As with most Maxis EXO tires, the Forekaster has held up to a lot of rocky trail abuse. The only issue is that it measures out slightly larger than other 2.4 tires and did not fit in the boost HT frame I transferred the tire too. I had to cut down the side knobs to be able to get a little more life out of the tire."
"My new bike came with v1 that most owner felt inferior. The v2 is pretty awesome. Get v2, not v1."
"Excellent grip and cornering stability, predictable transition to the side knobs. Surprisingly fast rolling speed given how aggressive the knobs are. Would work well as a front paired with a rekon rear. Dual compound seems durable and tough, quality as expected from Maxxis."
"Shipping was very fast and price was right!"
"I ran Forecaster 2.35 on my Intense Sniper Trail on 30id rims as they were the stock tires. I had a mixed relationship with them. They did well on loose terrain, we’re pretty decent on wet terrain, but harsh on rocks. They were relatively light a fast-rolling. I ultimately replaced the rear with a Rekon and was happy enough with the setup. They seem to work better in NJ and PA than they did in Western Washington, where I lived when I first began riding them. I bought the new version, a 2.4 WT tire, when I picked up a new Kona Hei Hei CR. It came with Rekon Race tires, which are useful only for racing, really. I replaced them with the new Forecaster on the front and a regular Rekon on the rear. The Rekon is heavier, considerably so, than it’s predecessor, but it is a much more comfortable and stable tire with improved grip. Now, it’s not just a tire that is good enough not to remove as an OE tire. It’s actually good enough to buy."
