"I’ve been using the Mavic Cosmic Wind SL jacket for a while now. If you're looking at this, keep in mind it is a true "race" fit. I’m a bigger guy, and it’s definitely snug on me, so if you prefer a looser feel or want to layer up heavily underneath, you might find it restrictive. That said, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It blocks the wind effectively and handles light to medium rain without issue. I’ve been caught in a few showers, and it kept me dry enough to finish the ride comfortably. The drop tail is a good length, so it covers your back well when you're in the drops. The best part for me is how small it packs down; it takes up almost no space in a jersey pocket, which makes it an easy piece to carry just in case the weather turns. It’s a solid, functional layer if you don't mind a tighter cut."

very light with some stretch, but runs small

"I usually wear a medium in just about every brand. This jacket's medium was too tight, and the sleeves were too short. Once I swapped it for a large, things were much better. The jacket is incredibly light but effective at blocking the wind. Stretch mesh panels on the sides and back help the jacket breathe. I am 6', 160 lbs. if that helps you with sizing."

Mavic Cosmic Wind SL Cycling Jacket is incredible!

"This Mavic Wind jacket is a welcome addition to my cycling closet and gets lots of use. The construction has elastic panels that keep it tight with no annoying wind noise. It is form fitting, and if You buy too large a size it might be too loose and make noise, but it is supposed to fit snugly. This jacket is only 80 grams and folds aways into its own pocket and fits easily in any jersey pocket. I confess i bought two because it is near impossible to find such a featherlight jacket that protects so well against cold winds. This jacket is worth every penny and then some."
