MicroSHIFT Advent 9 Drivetrain
The drivetrain of the Marin DSX 700C gravel bike is based on the MicroSHIFT Advent 9 system, which offers 9 gears. The rear derailleur, equipped with a clutch, ensures smooth and precise gear shifts, making riding comfortable on both flat sections and inclines. The SunRace 9-Speed cassette with a range of 11-46T, along with a crankset featuring a narrow-wide 38T chainring, allows for efficient traversal of varied routes.
Comfort and Equipment
The Marin DSX 700C gravel bike comes with a comfortable Marin DSX saddle and pedals included, enabling immediate use. "After receiving the large frame dsx within the estimated timeframe, assembly took less than an hour, everything was shipped in good shape. After the first ride, I immediately ordered a 110 mm stem and a four inch riser. Since I’m nearly 6’2”, I should have ordered the xlg frame, that was suggested by YouTube reviewers, however, the xlg was not available when I placed my order."
