"I've been using Fox Ranger shorts for many years now. What I like most about this current version is the integrated belt and the material. At one time the Ranger belt system included a hook that was cumbersome to use so this newer system works a lot better for me. I also like the lighter material they're using as it doesn't feel as bulky. I only wish these had a small cargo pocket or similar on the side. I used that a lot on my previous shorts."

Only negative is the liner that comes with it is not very comfortable and does not have the silicone grip material on the bottom of the leg material. So I bought some Pearl Izumi liners that were better and use them instead."
