"These tires are much faster than my previous ones - running 1 to 2 gears higher. A local hill I enjoy (going down!) now requires brakes. I expect the GP 5000 to be long wearing and puncture-resistant, as Continentals have been (like the excellent Gatorskins). I got the 32 mm width for loaded touring & think this was a good choice. A little more volume to soak up the bumps."
