Description

7 iDP Sam Hill Lite Elbow Pad

Developed with two-time Enduro World Series champion, two-time UCI Downhill World Cup Overall winner and five-time UCI Downhill World Champion Sam Hill. These pads are perfect for all-day sessions on the bike, from trail rides to Enduro racing.

Building off the success of the popular Sam Hill Knee Pad, the new Sam Hill S-Lite Elbow Pads takes design input from the legend himself to create a super light pad that can be worn all day in comfort without compromising protection. The pads mould with your body heat to provide a form-fitting shape that is unobtrusive and comfortable.

The slip-on compression fit design sits higher on the bicep compared to the majority of pads to provide a more secure fit, with silicone grippers to help keep the pads in place. Constructed from compression square line Ripstop Spandex fabric, the pads have great airflow and breathability whilst being durable enough for the rigours of riding.

Features

  • Durable front elbow cap fabric for increased durability and protection
  • Long bicep length fit to prevent pad slippage and all day comfort
  • Silicone top and bottom elastic gripper
  • Articulated cut for the perfect fit
  • Rollable and stowable using the elastic loop
  • Designed beyond CE EN 1621/1 standards
  • Weight is 105g for XL

I crashed with these on

"I crashed with these on already and they worked to protect my elbow. One thing that I didnt love was that when the pad came together (hardened) to protect, the shapes punched my skin and left a bloody pattern on my arm."

Poor fit, fall down over the rough stuff.

"Overall, these seem like great lightweight elbow pads. However, they run a little big. I got medium, and when I measure my "lower bicep," I get 10. 5" on my left arm and 11" on my right—well within the medium size. Unfortunately, these tend to slide down on bumpier terrain (where you really want them to stay in place!). I measured the inside elastic gripper, which is 11"—no wonder they slip!"
