Seatposts Buying Guide

There are a few things to consider when purchasing a seatpost for your mountain bike or road bike. Firstly, you'll need to decide whether you want a rigid seatpost or a dropper seatpost. Rigid seatposts are great for road and XC, while dropper seatposts are essential for trail and enduro riding. Next, you'll need to choose the right diameter for your seatpost. Most mountain bikes use 30.9mm or 31.6mm seatposts, while most road bikes use 27.2mm or 31.6mm seatposts. Make sure to measure the internal diameter of your frame before purchasing a seatpost. Finally, you'll need to decide on the length of the seatpost. This is largely dependent on your riding style and the height of your saddle. The EA90 is the top of the line model, also made from carbon fiber. It is the lightest and strongest seatpost option from Easton, and is perfect for those looking for the best performance.

There are three main types of dropper seatposts offered by FOX Suspension: the Transfer Performance Elite, Transfer SL, and Transfer Factory.

The Transfer Performance Elite is the standard seatpost in the line. It features a two-bolt head for easy saddle adjustments, as well as a micro-adjust lever for fine tuning. The Transfer is available in a variety of diameters and lengths.

The Transfer SL is a lighter weight version of the Transfer, and is available in both dropper and non-dropper options. It features the same two-bolt head and micro-adjust lever as the Transfer, but has a carbon fiber shaft for increased lightness. The Transfer SL is available in a variety of diameters and lengths.

The Transfer Factory is the premium seatpost in the line. It features a FOX's signature Kashima Coating on the sharft to reduce friction, and increase seal longevity. The Transfer Factory is available in a variety of diameters and lengths in order to suit your body size and riding style, ranging from 125mm to 200mm of seatpost travel.
