The Dura-Ace 9000 shifts with ease and precision. Shimano claims a 40% reduced effort in shifting when compared to the 7900 and a shorter stroke at the lever as well. With reduced efforts in shifting, cyclist can focus more effort towards riding.
Surprisingly, braking has also been improved from the Dura-Ace 7900 which was already phenomenal. The improvements come from a lighter and more compact size.
