With the Tubelesskits from Continental, a conventional impeller can be easily converted to tubeless operation. Simply remove the old rim tape and glue the Tubeless Easy Tape over the spoke holes instead. Afterwards only the tubeless valve has to be screwed in and the tire has to be pulled up. The subsequently filled sealing liquid seals minor punctures unnoticed while driving.
By eliminating the tube , the rolling resistance is reduced, the flexing of the tube and the friction between tube and tire are saved! The tire also works noticeably freer and offers increased traction and comfort.
